How to Register as a Telemarketer with the National Do Not Call List?

Starting January 1, 2005, telemarketers and sellers will be required to search the registry at least once every 31 days and drop from their call lists the phone numbers of consumers who have registered. Here is how to register as a telemarketer with the National Do Not Call List:

  1. Visit https://telemarketing.donotcall.gov
  2. Click on Register New Users and follow the simple registration steps
  3. Once the registration process is complete you will get to a screen similar to the one shown below and a confirmation email will be sent to you to activate your account with https://telemarketing.donotcall.gov

How to retrieve your Subscription Account Number (SAN)?

After you purchased the area codes of interest from the
https://telemarketing.donotcall.gov website, if a confirmation email was not sent to you with your SAN please follow these simple below steps to retrieve it:

1. Visit https://telemarketing.donotcall.gov
2. Click on Review Profile; enter your Organization ID and the Representative Password that were assigned to you during the registration process; select Representative option and click Log In.

3. Click on Manage/Renew Subscriptions and click on Check Status

4. Select My Organization and View Current Subscriptions then click Submit

5. On the following page you will find your SAN (Subscription Account Number). This is the ONLY information we need in order to manage and maintain your Do Not Call list.
